Tennessee Pharmacists Association
Pharmacists as Providers

The Tennessee Pharmacists Association, working in conjunction with NACDS, asks that you consider engaging in an important campaign to build congressional support for provider status legislation in the US House of Representatives and US Senate. While the pharmacy community’s efforts have cultivated major support [135 House Bill (H.R. 592) and 16 Senate Bill (S. 314) supporters], we are calling on you to send a letter TODAY to help us ensure provider status does not fall out of the congressional limelight! We are making tremendous strides towards provider status, but we will not celebrate success if we stop now. Please join pharmacy advocates across the nation and remind your elected officials about the need for provider status legislation! Our profession, our industry and our patients are depending on you!

Learn more and send your letter via this “Take Action” link: http://bit.ly/1APDSxI. Zip code look-up tools are provided to help you identify your legislators and send them your personalized letter.

TPA thanks the Representatives from Tennessee who have already signed on as cosponsors of H.R. 592: Dr. Phil Roe, John Duncan, Marsha Blackburn, and Steve Cohen.

If you have questions about this effort, please contact Heidi Ecker, NACDS Director of Government Affairs and Grassroots Programs, at Hecker@nacds.org or 703-837-4121. Thank you for your support of this important legislation!
