From the Tennessee Department of Health:
Please join us for our next Antimicrobial Stewardship webinar on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 1:00pm Central Time.
The topic will be “Getting Started with Antimicrobial Stewardship in Smaller Community Hospitals” and our guest speaker will be Dr. Gary Kravitz from St. Paul Infectious Disease Associates in Minnesota. We expect that this presentation will be an excellent resource not only for our smaller community hospitals, but also for our larger hospitals in Tennessee. We hope that many of you will be able to join us!

Also, a reminder to continue to complete the Antibiotic Use (AU) Survey on a regular basis. We completed data analysis for the first quarter of 2014 and sent out facility-specific feedback sheets to all hospitals that participated. We definitely want to encourage more hospitals to participate! The second quarter surveys will be due by June 30, 2014, and data can be entered here: https://redcap.health.tn.gov/
As always, if you have questions please contact firstname.lastname@example.org at the Tennessee Department of Health.
