The Administrator of the Tennessee Controlled Substance Monitoring Database (CSMD) has provided the following information regarding new CSMD functionality and CSMD account profiles. If you have questions about the information below, please email the CSMD Administrator at CSMD.email@example.com.
From the Tennessee Controlled Substance Monitoring Database Administrator:
Please click here for a description of new CSMD functionality to be released in the coming days related to clinical notifications and neonatal abstinence syndrome messaging. Please note that neonatal abstinence syndrome messaging will be visible to all CSMD users, while clinical notifications will be visible only to prescribers or a prescriber’s extender at this time.
Over the last month, many CSMD users have updated their passwords and other contact information within the CSMD in their “my account” profiles. If you have not updated your information since April 11th, 2014, please update this important information including a private, confidential email. Prescribers should also update their clinical notification preferences.
Each individual who accesses the CSMD must have a separate, individual account. These accounts are, in turn, linked to a supervising practitioner for auditing purposes. Please ensure that the username and password on your account remain confidential and not shared with anyone. Should you have an extender who needs to establish an account, please go to www.tncsmd.com and click “Register”.
Should you have any questions about these enhancements, please let the CSMD administrator know.
