Nashville, TN — The Tennessee Pharmacists Association (TPA) is proud to announce the inaugural class of recipients of the Fellow of TPA (FTPA) designation, a prestigious new honor recognizing outstanding service, leadership, and commitment to the profession of pharmacy.

The Fellow of TPA designation was established to recognize TPA members who have demonstrated sustained and significant contributions to the advancement of pharmacy practice, education, advocacy, and professional service to the profession and to TPA. Honorees include both pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who have been licensed or registered for a minimum of 10 years and who have maintained active membership in TPA for at least five years.

“Recognizing the individuals who have dedicated their careers to elevating the profession and supporting the mission of TPA is both an honor and a responsibility,” said Anthony Pudlo, PharmD, MBA, MSHIA, Chief Executive Officer. “The FTPA designation serves as a formal acknowledgment of their impact and leadership within the pharmacy community.”

The inaugural class of Fellows was formally recognized on June 27, 2025, during the Awards Banquet held at the TPA Summer Meeting in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Recipients of the FTPA designation are now authorized to use the FTPA credential as a permanent mark of distinction.

Recipients were selected by the TPA and TSHP Awards Committees based on a comprehensive evaluation of their professional achievements, including service to TPA and other organizations, mentorship and education, legislative advocacy, and contributions to pharmacy innovation and practice.
