The Tennessee Board of Pharmacy has released their proposed rule changes for public review. As introduced, these proposed rules will update many sections of the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy rules to reflect contemporary pharmacy practice, establish guidelines related to Collaborative Pharmacy Practice, and create a new section of rules for Long-Term Care Pharmacy Practice. These rules are required to be made available for public comment prior to the scheduled rulemaking hearing, in order to allow time for review, questions, and comments.

The Tennessee Pharmacists Association (TPA) will review the proposed rule changes and provide comments to the Board. As part of this process, TPA is requesting that all TPA members review the proposed rules and provide any comments or concerns to the TPA staff prior to the hearing.Please download THIS FORM, add your comments or concerns, and email the form to micah@localhost by December 11, 2015.
The Tennessee Board of Pharmacy Rulemaking Hearing will be held on December 18, 2015, at 9:00 AM Central time at the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy’s office, 665 Mainstream Drive, Metro Center, Nashville, TN 37228. This meeting is open to the public.
