Tennessee Pharmacists Association

View/download TPA’s 2027 Legislative Priorities (member login required).

Each summer, the TPA Board of Directors approves the association’s priorities for the upcoming legislative session. These priorities dictate how the association will deploy its advocacy resources in the General Assembly, executive branch, and regulatory agencies.

TPA’s Public Affairs Committee considers feedback from members, guidance from TPA’s legislative counsel, and opportunities to advance practice to propose priorities to the TPA Board. These priorities reflect critical practice or public health issues, feedback from members, practice advancement opportunities in Tennessee, and opportunities to collaborate with other health care organizations.

Members are encouraged to familiarize themselves with these priorities and incorporate them into conversations as they engage with their legislators.
